How does Lustre compare bullion prices?
Every few hours Lustre reads the one-item price of popular coins and bars from dealer websites, then divides by the melt value at the live spot price to show the premium. Each row links to the dealer. If we cannot read a dealer's price, the row says "Check price" with no number.
What is the premium over spot?
The amount above the metal value that a dealer charges, as a percent of the metal value. A lower premium means you pay less per ounce of metal.
Are these the final prices?
No. Prices are for one item, usually the check or wire price, before shipping and tax. Dealers change them through the day. Confirm the price at the dealer before you buy.
